Conception, integrations, metrological control

Mechanics involves many professions that involve qualified staff, who are mostly conducted in collaboration with various laboratories of the CNRS, CEA, CNES, space agencies (ESA, ESO, NASA) and industry (Alcatel Astrium, ...). The consortium thus formed, due to divisions of projects, impose a strict management interfaces, and require the application of "quality plans"

Missions

The missions of the mechanical department are to conceive, to manufacture internally or through subcontractors, to integrate opto-mechanical systems for astrophysics (...)

THE TEAM

Projects

The mechanical department is involved in all projects both space based and ground based, from conception phase upto integration of instruments.
