A Marie Curie ITN (Initial Training Network) aimed at training eight PhD students and two postdocs in the field of galaxy studies as well as in a wide range of complementary skills. The junior and senior scientists involved in DAGAL are distributed over six European nodes : Oulu University (Finland), Kapteyn Astronomical Institute (the Netherlands), Universidad Complutense de Madrid (Spain), Max-Planck-Institute for Astronomy (Germany), Instituto de Astrofisica de Canarias (Spain) and LAM.
Here, the two DAGAL fellows are Francesca Iannuzzi (postdoc) and Francesca Fragkoudi (PhD student). To know more about the specific projects carried out within the different DAGAL nodes, check the official website. The project has official twitter and facebook accounts, devoted mainly to outreach activities.
